The refined steel is used at the main entrance of the project, extending from the over-20-meter-high spatial truss structure to the ground. A level-2 penetration welding standard is required. Thin fireproof structural design technology.
FABRICATION AND CONSTRUCTION CHALLENGES
Due to the thin fireproof requirements of the truss structure and its continuation to the ground, it is necessary to meet not only the precision of the spatial structure but also the fine aesthetic of precision steel. Moreover, the level-2 welding seam generates a large amount of heat, which can easily cause deformation and requires absolute assurance of dimensional accuracy in the grid structure.
SOLUTION
Reasonable force-bearing plates for disassembly and processing was selected based on transportation limitations and the economic convenience of on-site installation. The whole structure was divided into 40 transportable units. High-precision nodes and precision steel rods were individually manufactured in the factory and then assembled into a single unit. SHBO used 1:1 three-dimensional positioning for processing. Single-piece assembly and finished product pre-assembly were realized in the factory, placing all high-precision steps in the factory. This effectively reduced the difficulty of on-site installation whilst reduced the workload of on-site assembly welding, ensure on-site installation while shortening the construction period.
