On July 18, 2025, the "2025 National Curtain Wall Design and Consulting Industry Observation Activity" kicked off in the Red Hall of the East Building of Shanghai Library. Shibo Group Co., Ltd., as one of the organizers, fully supports this activity.  

The event, with the theme of "innovation, collaboration, and win-win", gathered hundreds of industry elites including curtain wall design agencies, consulting firms, material suppliers, and construction units. At the event, Xian Daqing, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Association of Building Metal Structures, delivered the opening speech: Shanghai, as a showcase for cutting-edge global architectural solutions and international curtain wall technologies, showcases the deep integration of curtain wall design with urban culture, living environment, and material science.

During the event, Xian Daqing, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Building Metal Structure Association, delivered the opening speech and pointed out in his speech that Shanghai, as a showcase for cutting-edge global architectural solutions and international curtain wall technologies, the projects observed this time reflect the deep integration of curtain wall design with urban culture, living environment and material science.

As representatives of the Shanghai Local Association, Director Huang Qiuping and Director Du Pingjie stated in their opening speeches that the purpose of this observation activity is to build a communication platform, promote technology sharing, and help China's curtain wall industry move towards a higher level

During the speech at the conference, Kong Dexiang, Vice President of Shibo Group, and other leaders of the organizing units emphasized that "as an important component of modern architecture, the design innovation and consulting of doors, windows, and curtain walls have become the touchstone of 'good materials, big brands, and excellent services'. We hope to work together with excellent industry chain partners to become a key force in promoting industry transformation and upgrading.

Wang Xiaojun, President of the Curtain Wall Design and Consulting Branch and Aluminum Doors and Windows Curtain Wall Branch of the China Building Metal Structure Association, summarized his speech and stated that it is of great significance to have the opportunity to gather here and jointly focus on project observation and exchange in the field of curtain wall consulting!

After the forum, Secretary General Xian Daqing, accompanied by President Wang Xiaojun and Director Du Pingjie, visited the Shibo exhibition booth. The two sides exchanged views on the application technology, performance advantages, and future development direction of Shibo refined steel in large-scale construction projects, and affirmed Shibo Group's innovative achievements in the field of curtain wall materials.

This observation activity thoroughly examined three iconic projects: the Shanghai Opera House, the Shanghai Jiushi International Equestrian Center, and the East Branch of the Shanghai Library. The refined steel of Shibo Group was applied in all three projects:

The Shanghai Opera House used Shibo refined steel up to 25 meters in length to ensure a "transparent" style;

The entrance of Shanghai Jiushi International Equestrian Center is supported by 12 meters of Shibo refined steel;

The 23 meter large-span steel structure in the East Building of Shanghai Library adopts the refined steel system developed by Shibo.

This event showcased the technological achievements of the curtain wall industry and consolidated industry consensus. Shibo Group will continue to support the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, contributing to the construction of a safe, green, and intelligent ecosystem for doors, windows, and curtain walls.
